
Johnny C.Y. Lam (仲賢 Chung Yin) is a Canadian photographer based in Newfoundland. He is best known for his portrait, food, travel, and documentary photography.
His work has been published in The Atlantic, The Globe and Mail, Canadian Geographic, Travel + Leisure and other leading publications.
A seasoned visual storyteller with a deep curiosity about the world, Johnny has worked across three continents for nearly two decades, serving both editorial and commercial clients.
He is a Pulitzer Ocean Reporting Network grantee and is currently working on a long-term project documenting climate change and sea ice adaptation in Nunatsiavut.
When he is not traveling or behind the lens, he enjoys cooking, cycling, hiking, fishing, and reading photo books at home.
